Shift: will work 3x12s, 630a-7p (shifts will be scheduled per unit needs Monday-Friday (36 hours/week) Is on-call REQ? yes, 6-8 calls per month, including a weekend Holiday requirements: Holiday call may be required Float? Yes - may be required to float to like units Years of experience REQ: 2 Experience required: Must be able to scrub and circulate complex open and endovascular cases (FEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, TEVAR, Open AAA, Thrombectomy, AV fistulas, etc.) First-timers accepted: Not preferred License Required: SC or Multi-state RN license must be in hand at start of contract Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS-must be AHA Required: Radiation badge. radiation badge to be provided by agency
What is the local radius rule? 60 miles Locals accepted: Yes, on a case by case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: all RTO must be provided at the time of submission. Approvals based on dept needs Facility able to call off traveler 1 shift per 2 weeks (pay period). These hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift.
Common Vascular Procedures: Endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, cold leg, Thrombectomy, Amputation, Carotid, Av Fistuala, etc
Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 820 Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred.

RTO is due at time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted. Please ensure your traveler does not have any time off planned that will prevent them from completing pre-start compliance on time for the proposed start date.

Local Rule
: MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates first. Radius rule is 60 miles. Locals will be considered at local rate
Previous perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler.
South Carolina RN License:
MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until SC license is issued/active.
RTO GUIDELINE FOR AUTO OFFERS:
If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process
We can only submit to one MUSC unit/campus at a time. If you do submit to multiple job IDs, please mention in the submission what their top choice is.
