- Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates)
- OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift
- Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation

POSITION SUMMARY: The Special Procedures Tech I assists physicians with arteriograms and or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in diagnosis and treatment of patients. In doing so, prepares examination area, positions patients for procedures and operates complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines. Assists physicians as necessary by passing materials, taking exposures as directed and more. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

How many Procedure rooms Currently running 2 procedure rooms.
How many Procedures are done roughly per day Depends on the type of procedure scheduled. Our volume ranges from 5-10 per day total for the department.
Whats call/weekend/Holiday requirements The department is a M-F department. Saturday call ( 8a-1pm) that rotates.
