• Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates)
• OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift
• Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION:

• Beds: 6

• Ratios: 1:3 of actual ICU patients
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS--PALS and NIH preferred as well.
• Common diagnosis: STEMI, 3rd Deg HB, COPD, CHF, PNA, Sepsis, Covid, Flu.
• Experience: Must know how to care for a patient on a ventilator, temporary pacemaker, balloon pumps, hemodynamic monitoring, BiPAPs, titrating drips.
• Are RN's required to titrate drips: Yes
• Common titratable: Cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, insulin, levophed, vasopressin, nitroglycerin, nicardipine, neosynephrine, etc.
• Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Yes-Monitor techs scheduled 24 hours a day 7 days a week. RNS will sign off on strips 3x per shift.
• Are RN's required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab On day shift yes.
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes
• Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes. 1:6
• PT/OT/SLP/Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab: Yes
• RT/Equipment: From NC to Ventilator

• Weekend Requirement: Every other typically.
• Holiday Requirement: Every other typically.
• Call or Standby Requirement: LC may happen from time to time-not common. No on call.
• Floating Requirements: To areas where candidate has experience. This could include Med Surg, ED and BHC. However it is not required if there is no experience.
• Scrub Color: Any color scrubs, close toed shoes, good personal hygiene.
