Float Requirement: Flexing to UCLA Santa Monica Hospital Perinatal unit is required as needed.
SHIFT: 3X12 Nights (19:00 to 7:00)
Weekend REQ: Four weekend shifts (Fri night and/or Sat night) every 4 week schedule.
Years of experience REQ: 3+ years of L&D experience in a high-risk facility and couplet care experience required.
Certs REQ: BLS, NRP, RN
Pending License accepted: No
Additional Requirements: Experience in an academic setting is also preferred. Job requires caring for patients throughout their childbirth experience (antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum/couplet care) including circulating NSVDs and C-Sections.

Patient Diagnoses : Intrauterine pregnancy > 20 weeks with acute conditions or > 12 weeks gestation for operative obstetric procedures. (e.g. cerclage).
2nd trimester pregnancy loss requiring mIOL.
Term pregnancy in labor and/or with SROM or prodromal labor requiring pain management.
PTL and/or PPROM.
Non-reassuring fetal heart rate patterns.
Maternal cardiopulmonary instability.
Scheduled IOLs.
High risk condition jeopardizing maternal or fetal well being.
Patients requiring delivery of placenta following BOA.
