Special Procedures/Unit Details : 42 bed level 3 NICU with ground and flight transport program. Hospital does 2400 deliveries a year with 700-800 NICU admissions. We do not have pediatric surgery but keep all other NICU patients 22 weeks and above with conventional and high frequency ventilation. We do neonatal hypothermia cooling therapy.We staff by acuity. A typical team is 1:3-4 but with acuity we do 1:2 or 1:1.
