Special Requirements: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post cardiac surgery (directly or indirectly from OR), transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/replacement (TAVI/TAVR); Arterial line management, blood production administration, central line care/management, PICC line management; titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips. Preferred - Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Sheath Removal, Ventricular Assist devices (LVAD/RVAD/Impella); Care of ventilated patients, ventilator management. Previous charge experience is preferred.
Unit Information: Patient Diagnoses- CV Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiology, Endocrine, Oncology Special Procedures/Unit Details: CVICU largest patient population is CV surgery and Thoracic surgery, including CABG, TAVR, SAVR, MVR, and VATS.
