Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.

- Common diagnoses/Types of patients : Young adults through geriatrics, sepsis, STEMI, CHF, chest pain, COVID, stroke, renal failure, COPD, DKA, patients with complex medical issues including multisystem failure
- Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, IV antibiotics, Insulin; maintenance doses of IV meds (non titratable)

- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit Ratios Duties: CNAs 1:10 ratio- available CNAs fluctuates based on unit census

- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: First week classroom then 2-12 hour shifts on the floor
- Additional Notes: Busy patient flow- admitting and discharging within the same 6 hour time frame while also completing shift change. Attributes that will help make a nurse successful on this unit are a strong sense of teamwork, friendly, positive can-do attitude, engagement in positive patient experience with commitment to bedside report and hourly rounding
