Required Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience Strong Stepdown/PCU background Experience with transplant, renal, or high-acuity medical patients preferred

Required Certifications: Active Ohio RN License BLS ACLS

Skills & Competencies: Telemetry monitoring & dysrhythmia interpretation Advanced respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC) IV insulin protocols & insulin drips Cardiac & vasoactive drips (including titration) Central line & PICC management Blood product administration Renal transplant care Liver transplant care Post-procedure recovery (kidney biopsy, paracentesis)

TRAVELERS WHO ARE UNRESPONSIVE OR UNCOOPERATIVE WITH CREDENTIALING ARE AT RISK OF PUSH/CANCEL.

All candidates who are currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking. Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team.

required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted.

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location

RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission.

MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable.

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
