Description: AM - 8hr 40hr Days, 8a-4:30p, E/O Weekend. No on-call.
Required exp: 1+ years of physical therapy in an acute care setting. Ideal overall experience is over 2 years. Outpatient 1 to 2 days a week at our outpatient surgery center and also support inpatients. Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting, have excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques, be a good communicator, comfortable working with other members of the health care team (i.e. nursing, MD, Case management), team player, strong time management skills, be self-directed, flexible and able to multitask. Required Certs: MA PT licensure, CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider). Department Details: Inpatient Rehab department is made up of PT and OT. We provide coverage throughout the inpatient floors of the hospital. Patients seen include those ranging from birth through elderly age, can have varying impairments related to musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses.
